Course Correction

What if God cared about you, your family and your community so much that He decided to give incredibly helpful and detailed guidance on the ways your community is doing well and the ways you’ve gotten off track? All so you and your people could live in greater sync with Him and greater flourishing as a people? That sounds pretty great, doesn’t it? This essentially describes the role and work of the prophets in ancient Israel. This summer, we’re going on a journey through the minor prophets. We’ll see that “minor” is a major misnomer as we discover some of the many ways the prophets of old continuously pointed their audiences back to God using the language and imagery of their time. We’ll also find that their messages have plenty of application for our lives today.
