Our Ministries
At our core, we want to help people experience more and more of God and respond to Him in healthy, life-giving ways. Everything we do begins with that basic idea. On this page you’ll find several ways we go about that work… opportunities for anyone getting involved with the Vineyard to take further steps of engagement with their church community. The Ark - Children’s ministry
We recognize that tomorrow’s leaders and influencers in culture and the church are the little ones in our care right now. We love to pour into these children and help them build a thriving, balanced and thoughtful approach to life and faith.

Loving our Neighbors - Outreach ministry
We see a pattern in the life and ministry of Jesus that we want to emulate… He loved His neighbors well. He taught others to love their neighbors. With this in mind, we desire to be a blessing to our neighbors in the Charlottesville area.

Sunday morning team
As you can imagine, it takes a team effort to make Sunday morning an inviting, welcoming, encouraging and engaging experience for our community and guests. Getting involved with the Sunday morning team is a great way to meet new people, serve the community and have fun! There’s always a way to help.

Worship team
Worship is something we take seriously at the Vineyard. People have been encountering God in deeply life-changing ways through song for millennia. If you have some skills and a heart for meeting God through worship, this may be a great way for you to get involved.

Prayer ministry team
Every Sunday, we make sure to set aside time to pray for those who want prayer. We have a trained team who love to listen to God and see Him move in people’s lives. They would love to pray for you and always welcome new team members.

Justice team
Vineyard is one of 25 congregations within a network called IMPACT which is based in Charlottesville and Albemarle County. As a religiously, racially, economically and ethnically diverse network we build our people power to solve community problems at their root. When we come together as one unified community we fulfill the Micah 6:8 call to "do justice" by challenging our local officials to make policy and funding decisions that address systemic injustices in our area.
