Weekly Happenings

2/23 Annual Meeting
Our annual meeting is an opportunity to see how our church stewards the resources God has provided. Just as God puts His trust in us to steward our personal resources well… he trusts us to do so with our communal resources. An important step in that work is awareness of our financial position. If you would like to peer under the hood, join us on Sunday, February 23rd, in the auditorium after our service.

3/29 Barnraising Call for Volunteers
Imagine a day where our church family comes together to spread God’s love through our city, enjoy one another, and bless those in need. On Saturday, March 29th, our Vineyard family is partnering with Abundant Life Ministries to serve our neighbors in the Prospect neighborhood with home improvement projects. We need everyone, because all of us together have the skills needed to pull off some of these important projects and make a difference in peoples’ lives. Look for an email coming soon with a brief, but mission critical survey. Simply complete that survey to sign up!

3/9 Vineyard 101
We recognize the fundamental human need to belong… to be needed and to need others. This is especially true in our journeys with God, who calls us all to belong to him by not only loving Him, but by caring for and meeting one another’s needs. At our Vineyard 101 class, you’ll learn what it means to belong to the Vineyard family… to be an essential member of our church family and you’ll have the opportunity to become a steward-member here. So, join us on Sunday, March 9th from 1:30-3:30 at the Bleakley home. Sign up here.

3/9 Ark Volunteer Lunch
The Ark volunteer team will be hosting a lunch on Sunday, March 9 after service (around 12:30). We'll get to know each other, talk about vision and how things have been going, and pray for the ministry together. Both volunteers and non-volunteers interested in the Ark ministry are welcome to attend. RSVP to Emily.

6/20-21 Vineyard Retreat
Join your Vineyard family for a time of fun, rest, and fellowship with each other and with God. The retreat will be Friday evening and all day Saturday, June 20-21, at Eagle Eyrie Conference Center near Lynchburg. All are welcome! More information will be shared in the coming weeks - for now, mark your calendar.
